Director of Mental Health Dr Hazel Othello said people will have to celebrate Mother’s Day virtually. She said in the age of covid19, certain customs such as taking mothers out to restaurants to celebrate the day cannot be followed.

People will have to celebrate their mothers virtually. She suggested people make a telephone call to express their love and appreciation, or if they have access to video communication, they can have a more visual experience.
