After the discharge of the 69 returnees from Suriname later today, the remaining patient at the UWI Penal/Debe campus will be moved to the Cascadia Hotel in St Ann’s.
Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh said this will allow cleaning of the step-down facility.
He said this will bring the number of individuals at Cascadia to three, as 12 Cuban nurses have finished their quarantine there.
Deyalsingh said the National Racquet Centre at Tacarigua will now house the 21 people who returned from Guyana yesterday.
